Cosmetic Eyelid surgery, known as Blepharoplasty in America, is perhaps the most common form of plastic surgery. This procedure is designed to eliminate excess fatty tissue, and skin, that can sometimes be found around the eye and the curvature of the lower and upper eyelids.The aim is to reduce the sagging and puffiness from around the eyes that tends to make people look older. The Blepharoplasty will begin with the cosmetic surgeon making small cuts around the eyes to lift the skin from the underlying tissue. In addition to any skin being cut away, any unwanted fatty substances will be removed. When this is completed the incision will closed.
